Doctoral candidate Emiko Stock is one of 21 students to be named a Charlotte W. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellow for 2017 by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation.
Assistant professors Anna Y.Q. Ho, Chao-Ming Jian, Rene Kizilcec and Karan Mehta are among 126 early-career researchers who have won 2024 Sloan Research Fellowships from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

The most surprising thing he found, he said, was how alive that history still is in some areas.
