Appel Fellowship for Humanists and Social Scientists
The Appel Fellowships enable recently-tenured associate professors to take a full year's leave at full salary in conjunction with their first sabbatical to write, develop new courses, conduct research or otherwise enrich their teaching and scholarship.
Deanne Gebell Gitner ’66 and Family Annual Prize for Teaching Assistants
Teaching assistants who have demonstrated their devotion to undergraduate teaching — including classroom presence, course preparation and administration, student counseling, and, where applicable, development of new courses and new methods of student instruction — may be eligible for a Deanne Gebell Gitner ’66 and Family Annual Prize for Teaching Assistants.
Robert A. & Donna B. Paul Awards for Excellence in Mentoring and Advising
The Robert A. and Donna B. Paul Endowment for Academic Advising enables the College of Arts & Sciences to honor undergraduate advisers who make a difference in the lives of their Cornell students.
Rosenthal Graduate student Award
The Rosenthal Award provides support to graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences pursuing research in non-STEM fields. Preference will be for female graduate students or those who enhance the diversity, equity, and inclusion of the university.

Stephen Russell Family Teaching Awards
The Russell Family Teaching Award (formerly the Stephen and Margery Russell Distinguished Teaching Award) is intended for professorial faculty, lecturers, senior lecturers and teaching assistants who have demonstrated their devotion to teaching.

Morgan Chia-Wen Sze and Bobbi Josephine Hernandez Distinguished Teaching Prize
The Morgan Chia-Wen Sze and Bobbi Josephine Hernandez Distinguished Teaching Prize will be awarded to recognize professorial faculty for excellence in teaching, and will be awarded alternately over a three-year cycle to faculty in the humanities, social sciences and the natural sciences and mathematics.
