Second book manuscript, "The Demands of Justice: Enslaved Women, Capital Crime, and Clemency in Early Virginia, 1662-1865"

African American Women's History, Slavery and Gender in the Atlantic World

What most excites you about Cornell:
I'm most excited about continuing the tradition of teaching and researching African American women's history and I'm fortunate to do this work in such a vibrant and supportive department. I look forward to working with Cornell students and collaborating with faculty across disciplines.
