Why did you choose Cornell?

I chose Cornell because it seemed very community-oriented. Also from current students I heard great things about the diverse communities on campus, as well as how students support one another.
What is your main extracurricular activity and why is it important to you?
My main extracurricular is Cornell University EMS. It is incredibly important to me because it has given me the opportunity to give back to the Cornell community in a very hands-on capacity, and contribute to campus safety and health. I have also been able to work alongside some of the best people I have ever met, making lifelong friends in the process.
What are the most valuable skills you gained from your Arts & Sciences education?
I think the most valuable skill I have gained from my Arts & Sciences education is the ability to approach arguments from different perspectives, as well as bring in a breadth of knowledge from both humanities and physical sciences.
How have your beliefs or perspectives changed since you first arrived at Cornell?

I wouldn't say my beliefs or perspectives have changed since first arriving at Cornell; however, I will say that I have cemented my beliefs and perspectives even more being at Cornell. I have gained a lot of confidence in myself, both personally and academically, and I think Cornell has definitely contributed to that.
