Arts & Sciences Career Development will celebrate the Class of 2024 during its second annual senior celebration, April 25, from noon-3 p.m. in their office, Goldwin Smith Hall 172.
“For the senior celebration, we want to recognize our seniors and celebrate their next steps into their professional careers,” said Jen Maclaughlin, director of A&S Career Development. The celebration event is separate from Senior Week activities at Cornell, which are held in May.
Arts & Sciences Career Development can help students and young alumni find internships, career-related experiences, employment and graduate school opportunities. Staff can help students determine their goals, prepare for interviews, polish their resumes and improve their graduate school applications. The office also brings alumni to campus for career talks, provides guidance on networking and offers regular alumni meetups for students in a variety of fields, including law, journalism, medicine and business, held both online and in-person.
Career counselors will be at the senior celebration, so students will have the opportunity to chat with counselors about post-graduation plans. The festivities will include free food, a photo booth and a raffle for Cornell Store gift cards.
