What was your most profound turning point while at Cornell?

My global health field study in Kenchanahalli, India (through Cornell's Global Health Program) was an important part of my Cornell experience. It helped me understand how I wanted to mesh public health and medicine in the future. This experience helped me grow and gave me a new perspective that was really important in shaping my worldview.

What accomplishments/activities are you most proud of while at Cornell?

I am proud of organizing Holi along with a fantastic group of people on the Hindu Student Council's executive board! Holi is the Hindu festival of spring where people throw colored powder at one another. It was really exciting to see people enjoying Holi after the months of hard work we put into organizing the event.

What do you value about your liberal arts education?

I value how a liberal arts education adds depth to my understanding of the world. Every class that I took in the College of Arts & Sciences allowed me to reconsider my beliefs and viewpoints. I'm thankful for my liberal arts education, because it gave me the language and tools to think critically and carefully about the world around me.
