Overview
Paul Chen is a private investor and founded Kellett Grove Partners, which invests across various asset classes and geographies. He is a retired Partner of TPG Capital, having joined its Hong Kong Office (formerly Newbridge Capital) in 1996 as one of the earliest members of the Asian investment team. While at TPG, Paul helped spearhead and grow the firm’s investment activities across Asia, including Greater China, Australia and Korea. During his TPG tenure, Paul served on the boards of Myer Holdings Limited, Korea First Bank, and Hanaro Telecom. Previously, Paul worked at Morgan Stanley in NY and Hong Kong, and Bankers Trust in NY.
Paul received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Cornell University. He and his wife live in San Francisco and travel frequently to New York City, where their son is based.
