Pamela Reis

Overview

Since retiring as Executive Vice President of the First Interstate Bank of California, where she oversaw 93 branches in Southern California, Pamela has been an active volunteer in her community. She is President of the Reis Foundation. Pamela served as a Director of the South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation, a Director of Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles, a Trustee of the South Coast Repertory, and the Norris Theatre for the Performing Arts, among several others.

Along with her late husband, Curtis S. Reis ’56 (A&S), Pamela is a long-time supporter of the College of Arts & Sciences. Curtis was a trustee emeritus, three-term member of the Cornell University Council, and a long standing member of the Arts & Sciences Advisory Council. Pamela was closely involved with Curtis’ Cornell-related roles and activities, has a strong knowledge of Cornell and the field of higher education, and is herself a staunch advocate for the College. In 2010 Curtis and Pamela were honored as Foremost Benefactors of  Cornell.

Pamela is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania where she served as a member of the Board of Trustees and was a founding member and Chair of the Trustees' Council of Penn Women, and was Overseer of the School of Arts and Sciences.
