Natasha Leibel grew up in New York City. She attended Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences, and graduated with a BA in History in 1992. She attended Weill Cornell Medical College, graduating in 1998. Natasha did her residency, chief residency, and fellowship training in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology at Columbia University Medical Center. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of Pediatric Diabetes at Columbia University Medical Center, specializing in the care of children with type 1 diabetes. Natasha lives in New Jersey with her husband, who is an orthopedic surgeon, and their 2 boys and 2 dogs. She serves on the President’s Council of Cornell Women, the Board of Trustees for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Board of the Weill Cornell Medical College Alumni Association, and the Board of Trustees of the Dwight-Englewood School.
