Overview
Dr. Steven Grinspoon is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Metabolism Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also serves as Director of the Nutrition Obesity Research Center at Harvard. His research focuses on the neuroendocrine regulation of body composition and the impact of fat distribution on cardiovascular disease and inflammation. He has led groundbreaking studies on HIV-associated lipodystrophy and cardiovascular risk, including the NIH-funded REPRIEVE trial.
Steven earned his B.A. from Cornell University and his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
