Overview

Carol is co-founder of Zoomdojo LLC, a social enterprise founded to promote and advance student access to success from high school to college to career by enhancing their knowledge base via relevant online tools and resources available to any student anywhere as well as through workshops, consulting and engaging in policy dialogues.  Carol is also a private investor and advisor to startups in the US and China. While living in HongKong she was a financial advisor to AsiaInfo, in Tokyo, Managing Director of the Whitney Group, international executive search firm and Vice President in the Capital Markets Group of Bankers Trust NY.  In philanthropy, Carol co-founded the Rattray Kimura Foundation which focuses  on education.

She is currently a member of the board of trustees of Bates College and The Asian Cultural Council and a member of the  Cornell University's University Council and serves on the advisory boards for Columbia University Graduate School of Business's  Lang Center for Entrepreneurship and the South Asia Business Association, The Asia Foundation’s Women’s Empowerment Program, and Global China Connection, an international student organization.
