Overview
Andrew is a Partner at Apax, a leading global private equity advisory firm. The Apax Funds invest in companies across four global sectors: Tech, Services, Internet / Consumer and Healthcare. These funds provide long-term equity financing to build and strengthen world-class companies. Andrew is jointly responsible for the firm’s investment activities in healthcare. Apax has completed more than 100 investments across the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Apax in 2017, Andrew spent eleven years at Vestar Capital Partners where he was co-head of the healthcare sector. Andrew came to Vestar in 2006 from The Blackstone Group. Prior to Blackstone, Andrew was a senior associate at JPMorgan Partners (the private equity affiliate of JPMorgan Chase) and an analyst at Merrill Lynch.
Andrew earned his BA, cum laude, in Economics and Government from Cornell University with distinction in all subjects and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School. He was raised in Darien, CT, where he currently lives with his wife and three daughters.
