Dynamical properties of intrinsic localized modes are studied in micromechanical arrays, in anharmonic crystals, in electrical transmission lines and in magnetic solids.

Research Focus

The exploration of energy localization in discrete nonlinear lattices, both classical and quantum mechanical, is an ongoing focus.
