The Spring 2021 Zalaznick Reading Series culminates with a reading by poet, memoirist, translator, and human rights advocate Carolyn Forché on Thursday, April 29.
Novelist Susan Choi MFA ’95, whose novel "Trust Fall" won the 2019 National Book Award, will read from her New Yorker story "Flashlight" during a virtual event on April 22.
The final weeks of the semester will be enlivened by a virtual “Writers & Poets” reading series featuring faculty in the Creative Writing Program in the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) reading their own works. Beginning Nov. 30, a video of a professor reading from their own work will be released every other weekday, through Dec. 23.
The Fall 2019 Barbara & David Zalaznick Reading Series features award-winning authors reading from their work. Each reading is followed by a catered reception and book signing; books will be available for purchase courtesy of Buffalo Street Books. The series is sponsored by Cornell’s Creative Writing Program and all events are free and open to the public.
