Project title: How Will Blockchain Affect the Players in the Art Market?
Project description: My project examines the effects blockchain technology will have on art investing. It focuses in particular on the democratization of art investing as a result of the technology, while examining the economic, legal, and diplomatic ramifications. In addition, I hope to include in my research the experience of investing in partial share blockchain-backed websites. In order to see if blockchain technology is really able to bring art to the masses.
Reflections on the College Scholar Program: The College Scholar program has completely transformed my college experience. It has given me the ability to study what I’m truly interested in, and freedom within the huge university that is Cornell. When I first arrived at Cornell, I was overwhelmed by my requirements and felt that because of these classes I was unable to take everything I wanted over my four years. Since becoming a college scholar, my course load is able to reflect what I’m truly interested in, making the college experience even better.
