Project Title: Anarchism and Anti-Fascist Organizing
Project Description: My project seeks to study the theory and praxis of various anarchist movements, in particular indigenous anarchist groups such as the Zapatistas and Rojava, and study how their methods could be applied to organizing. I am particularly interested in anarchist responses to fascism and colonialism and how anarchism could serve as a base for anti-fascist struggle.
Most Important Accomplishment: Having the opportunity to work with the Centre for Democracy and Development on research concerning the governance styles of different insurgent movements and tracking misinformation networks in West Africa.
Reflections on the College Scholar Program: Through the College Scholar program I have the opportunity to focus my studies around my interest and delve into new avenues I would have never discovered in a traditional major.
