Ray Kim

Director of Advising

Overview

Ray grew up a Yankees fan on the southern coast of Maine in solid Red Sox country. He attended Vassar, where he learned the key role that good advising plays in an excellent undergraduate education. He went on to earn a graduate degree in international management and worked for a large financial services firm while earning a second graduate degree in global technology management. He has worked in A&S admissions and advising since 2004 and is honored to serve as Director of Advising as of 2021.  When he’s not working with students, Ray enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa Nishii, and their two teenage children, as well as reading, watching baseball, and DJ’ing.
