Nathan Lindberg

Overview

Nathan Lindberg is a Senior Lecturer who teaches graduate writing and oral communication classes. He joined the English Language Support Office in the fall of 2015. Previously, he taught composition and English language courses at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he also worked on his PhD dissertation. Nathan’s doctoral research is on faculty from across the curriculum’s perceptions of teaching second language (L2) writing students. He hopes to use his research to improve conditions for L2 students.

Nathan has been teaching L2 students for over 15 years. He taught in Taiwan for more than 12 years, working on all levels from kindergarten to university. Nathan earned his BA in the Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington and his MA in Applied Linguistics TESOL from the University of Surrey, U.K.
