Research Focus

Number Theory, commutative algebra, combinatorial geometry, university mathematics education

My research is in number theory and combinatorial algebra. I study integer-valued polynomials and how to find bases for the modules they create. I am especially interested in the case of homogeneous integer valued polynomials, and how to use combinatorial geometry to construct these.

I am also interested in finding new ways to get more people to enjoy mathematics and how to get students more involved while learning math.
