Overview

Ms. Pandin is a senior lecturer in Indonesian and a board member of COTI (Consortium for the Teaching of Indonesian), a collaborative team of twelve universities in the US that offer full and regular Indonesian courses during the academic year. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Atma Jaya University, Jakarta, Indonesia, in 1994; her M.A. in the Southeast Asian Studies Program in 2000, and her M.Sc. from the Department of Life Sciences Communication in 2002, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to her arrival at Cornell, she taught Indonesian at UW-Madison, at the Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) at the University of Oregon-Eugene and UW-Madison, and at the University of British Columbia-Vancouver.

She provided the Indonesian translation for the bilingual children's storybook The Hornless Rhinoceros by Robin W. Racliffe (2015). Her academic interests include the Indonesian language and life sciences communication.
