Overview
Matilda Prestano earned her master's degree from Gallaudet's Master in Sign Language Education (MASLED) program. After years of teaching ASL in different settings, that's included University of Texas, her main interested to continue research in ASL Linguistics and DE 'VIA (Deaf View Image Art). She enjoyed teaching ASL I, II, and III. Matilda holds a Professional Certification from the American Sign Language Teachers Association.
Matilda was featured in TRUE+WAY ASL digital textbook and curriculum in 2020. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, & photography.
