Overview
Anaïs Fabre is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
She primarily works on labor economics and econometrics, with a particular focus on access to higher education.
Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Economics at LMU Munich and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. Her dissertation received the Best PhD Dissertation Prizes from the French Economic Association (AFSE) and the Council of Economic Analysis (CAE), and she was awarded the 2025 Distinguished CESifo Affiliate Award in Economics of Education.
