What is a Career Conversation?
This is an opportunity for alumni and friends to offer career advice to a small group of Arts and Sciences undergraduates. These events are meant to be small networking sessions designed to offer 5-15 students the chance to get answers to their most pressing questions about a particular career field. All that is expected is an hour of your time on campus (or virtually via ZOOM!) and an interest in engaging in a conversation with students about your career.
What are Office Hours?
This is an opportunity for you to connect one-on-one (for 15-20 minutes each) with students to provide career insight and guidance, including resume and cover letter reviews. Volunteer for a morning, afternoon, or a full-day of office hours. Some students will be exploring career options and simply want to know more about your line of work, while others will be interested in learning how to leverage their skills and talents into a career in your field.
