The Eric Breindel Award for Excellence in Opinion Journalism
The Eric Breindel Memorial Foundation is accepting submissions for an undergraduate journalism award and paid internship. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of $10K, a paid internship at either Fox News Channel, The Wall Street Journal or the NY Post, and housing in NYC. The applicant will submit published original work which best reflects the sprit that animated the writings of Eric Breindel: Love of country and its democratic institutions as well as the act of bearing witness to the evils of totalitarianism. Application deadline must be postmarked no later than Friday, April 23, 2010.
